The terms and conditions provided for in this document lay out relevant details about the contracted assistance services, listed below:
Express Scratch Repair and Paintless Dent Repair: express scratch repair is a repair service for scratches and/or dents onthe bodywork and/or bumper of vehicles up to 50 cm in diameter, with high quality paint. Paintless dent repair consists of the service of smoothing small and medium damage to the bodywork with up to 30 cm in diameter, without the need for painting or repainting the part.
6.1.
Trucks, buses, minibuses, tractors, tricycles, motorcycles, trailers, construction machinery, and armored vehicles;
6.2. Special, vintage, tuned or converted vehicles (those modified from the original design and off roads);
6.3.
Vehicles used for sporting activities, including participation in competitions, betting or speed events, fractional events, rallies or races;
6.4.
Vehicles valued above €150.000,00 (incl. VAT);
6.5.
Vehicles used for public transportation, taxis and similar transport of persons, cargo, business operational and maintenance activities, or similar purposes; and
6.6.
Vehicles over 10 years old since the manufacturing date.
The following types of losses are excluded from the Stellantis Smart Repair:
6.7.
Financial losses caused by the Vehicle being out of service/circulation while the Stellantis Repair service is being carried out;
6.8.
Costs related to the moving/transportation of the Vehicle to be repaired;
6.9.
Costs or losses resulting from theft of Vehicle accessories, luggage and other objects within the Vehicle;
6.10.
Services negotiated, contracted and/or acquired directly by the Client with third parties without the prior knowledge and authorization of Assistia; and
6.11.
Situations in which the Client withholds information to SFS or Assistia necessary for the service performance, or intentionally misrepresents the relevant events related to the damage.
The following types of Damages are excluded from the Stellantis Smart Repair:
6.12.
Intentionally caused Damages;
6.13.
Assistance for third-party vehicles or goods;
6.14.
Damage resulting from misuse of the Vehicle, in breach of the legislation governing the use of the public road;
6.15.
Theft of the part (Stellantis Smart Repair will not be provided if the part is not installed in the Vehicle);
6.16.
Structural damage, misaligned parts or damage to the edges/corners of parts that require the change of the part;
6.17.
Dents or scratches on the rubber strips/stickers/parts, unpainted plastic components/parts, aluminum components/parts, or any parts of the interior of the vehicle;
6.18.
Damage that is larger than 50 cm in diameter for Express Scratch Repair services or larger than 30 cm in diameter for Paintless Dent Repair services;
6.19.
Damages that require the disassembly of the Vehicle part for repair;
6.20.
Exchange of Vehicle body parts (under no circumstance will the exchange of body parts for new and/or used parts be covered by the Stellantis Smart Repair);
6.21.
Repairs that require soldering/welding;
6.22.
Parts with holes or tears and/or rusty parts;
6.23.
Damage that, even though conforming to all other repair specifications, are located in places where that do not allow access to carry out the repair;
6.24.
Damage that cannot be repaired in a way that it becomes nearly unnoticeable after the repair;
6.25.
Damage caused by incorrect towing of the Vehicle;
6.26.
Damage caused by objects carried by or attached to the Vehicle;
6.27.
Damage provoked/caused by strike, riots and situations of public disorder in general, as well as all damage caused, directly or indirectly, by floods, fire, hail, storms, the action of the public enemy, war, the threat of war, invasion, rebellion, terrorism, revolution, fraud and related situations; and
6.28.
Damages existing prior to the signing of the Finance Agreement.
